So I turn eighteen on August 11 and since its a Monday I can't go out clubbing & all the good restaurants are closed.

I live in the redlands in brisbane and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for places to go out to grab a meal and have a couple of beers.

I'll have a few underage people coming so it needs to be somewhere we can all go. Perhaps we could go somewhere after?

I was thinking the Victoria Point Tavern but im not too sure.

  1. Ew don't go to the victoria point tavern, mainly older people go there. If your not working why not go out that friday night, try the icon bar at cleveland, the alex hotel at alexandra hills or hogans on main street, wellington point, they have the newish bar next door and alot of people go there. Or you could always go to the victoria point plaza (where fasta pasta, hogs breath, toscanis is) on the weekday, have a few drinks to celebrate and then do the bigger thing on the weekend.

  2. Happy Birthday!!.. Well then - mondays can be great if you know where to go! - remember that all the hospitality workers have their weekends on monday and tuesday - so you need to find where they go to. there are some places on here

there is a restaurant in there that these guys rave about and it sounds a great place, also there is a sassy pub across the road from here and a few other funky places around here.

Have a great night and enjoy!.
