  1. no only the one closest to the inside but usually there's a sign saying no right on red

  2. Yes both can turn right on red.We have several intersections like that here.

  3. In the majority of states, you can turn right on red if there isn't a sign prohibiting it, but only from the far right lane.

  4. If it is illegal to turn right on red from the outside turn lane, then I've been lucky for a long time, 'cause I do it often.  I even do it almost every Friday night in my tractor-trailer, as long as there isn't a car in the inside lane.  I see people doing it, and never seen any problem.  Maybe NC is different, I don't know.  By the way, in our local school district, school bus drivers are not allowed to turn right on red for any reason!

  5. In Ohio, only the curb lane can make a right turn on red.

  6. In California, at least, the answer is "yes."

Unless there is a sign prohibiting right turns on a red signal.

  7. We have this situation where I live and the righ most lane is clearly marked as the only one allowed to make the turn on red

  8. I thot u could only do a left turn on red

  9. The answer is: it depends on your State and its' rules. Everywhere in NY, right turn on red lights are permitted except where there are signs saying no, except for NYC, there you can only make a right on red if there are signs saying that you can.

Also, I live out on Long Island and I have seen the type of roadway design that you're talking about. Usually there are signs posted indicating that only the curb lane can make a right on red. The sign usually reads "Right Turn On Red Light Not Permitted From Left Lane Turning Bay".

  10. curb lane only

  11. It depends on the laws of the particular state you are talking about; some do not allow right turn on red.  In my state, it is allowable to make a right turn on a red light.  In the case of having two right turn lanes, I would think that both of them should be able to turn at the same time, but the turning cars should stay in their lane (that is, the car on the rightmost lane should turn into the rightmost lane, and the car on the second-to-the-right lane should turn into the second-to-the-right lane).

  12. ya you can take right turns on a red light
