  1. As a wild guess, I would say 5%.   Do you have a book to refer to?      It depends how cold it is outside your home, also.   If it is lets say, 15 degrees outside and you go from 20 to 19 on your thermostat, you would get a pretty good savings.      If it is 0 degrees out,    and you go from 25 to 24 on your thermostat, it would be less savings, I think.


  2. probably C, but could be any of the above.  Depends where you live.  

    If you live in Alaska (60C temperature difference), turning your heat down from 20 to 19 would be about 2%.  If you live in Florida (10C temperature difference), turning your heat down from 25 to 24 would save 10%.
