Turning in dance paws???

I just got new dance paws, and when i went to do a double pirouette i fell out of it. And the weird thing is i can do a triple good with jazz shoes on. So how do i contol my pirouettes with dance paws??? its really slipery in the room i was in and i wasn't on marlie floor

  1. Dance paws are supposed to provide traction, so it's harder to turn in them. Also, it could have been the surface you were on--it's usually harder to turn somewhere that's more slippery because you overspin many times, which causes you to fall out. It also could be simply because you're not used to them. They take time to get used to, so just be patient.
