  1. Roger S has a really good website for this.

  2. From as little as I have found concerning this I would say the it would be between 50 to 51.

    Good luck

  3. There are no 53' tractors, trailers yes.

  4. Here is a formula for off tracking any combination of trailers. In order to calculate the distances exactly you need to know the laws....for example in Canada the overall length of a 53' trailer and a truck can be no more than 75ft. A B Train can be no longer than 82 ft 6 in. Then the tricky part is knowing Kingpin settings (which is where the tractor connects to under the trailer...some have 48 inch....some have 36 inch...some have 24 inch meaning from the front of the trailer to the kingpin. There are multiple factors, but if you take the time to actually measure a particular truck and trailer combination you can input the numbers into this conversion calculator. Hope this helps.

  5. According to the AASHTO green book, the turn radius for a 55' tractor trailer (WB-50) is 45 feet.  The turn radius for a 50' tractor trailer (WB-40) is 40'.  There is nothing specifically for a 53' tractor trailer, but you will be in the ballpark with the 50' and 55' information.

The only 53' vehicle is a motor home-boat combo and its turning radius is 50 feet.

  6. 53'
