Turns on when it wants to

Question

My t.v. sometimes works (turns on), and sometimes nothing happens when I use the remote or try turning it on from the t.v.I took it in to get repaired and was charged $80.00, worked fine for about 3 months then it started happening again. What's wrong with this set?
