  1. Ok, i was in the same position you were in a year ago. Im still a beginner. Anyways, if you really wanna get good long lasting equipment, save up your money more and then get like a Technics SL-1200MK5 or something. But if you really want to get some turntables now. You can get the one i bought. Its a Gemini TT02 direct drive turntable. Im assuming you already know the whole basics about belt driven, and direct drive turntables. Since you have 200 dollars, you have a good $145 left over for a mixer, which is plenty. Now this is the part where you decide what type of dj you wanna be. If you wanna be a scratch dj, and get down on the records. make sure you do a little research on scratch mixers, find a decent one that you can afford, and get it. If you wanna be like a club dj that mixes and loops records, then do the same. Read a little on the mixers that are good for mixing records and looping and get one. But let me tell you one thing. If you really have a 200 dollars, then you will probably only be able to afford one turntable, and one mixer. And for mixing and looping n stuff, u need two turntables

But yeah, some other things you should know. You will not be able to produce ANY sound with your turntables unless you have a mixer. It took forever for me to figure that out. I highly recommend that you visit these websites and learn a little more then get some equipment.
