Turtle and tortoise question?

Firstly i have a russian tortoise so was wondering if she would play well with another of the sam breed and also do they breed easily?Secondly i have a Red Eared Slider Turtle and was wondering if he would play well with another of the same breed?

we had 2 tortoises they were fine together

I dont know much about turtles but do they play?

I would always stick with the same breed hopefuly opposit s*x

Well turtles dont play with eachother but they dont really often care about another turtle. But they (And expecially tortoise's) can get teritorial! And fight ... sometimes until death (But rarely) ... I would go to a local pet store (like petsmart) and ask about it. They should know if they sell either of those breeds!

ive had both of those before and never thought of letting them play together.haha. but i dont know if i would. im sure the tortoise would play well with another. but idk about it playing with an aquatic turtle. but who knows? they might. but i dont think i would.

Turtles and tortoises are not social animals for the most part. Red-ears especially do not get along well with other turtles, even other Red-ears, unless the tank is HUGE.

Russians also stay away from each other unless they are fighting for females or mating. Again, they would be OK in a very large habitat.

Not sure about your tortoise, but red eared sliders can be aggressive to other turtles, so best to keep it on it's own.

i have  a  red  slidder  turtle  too  and  they  will  just  play  or  go  away  dont worry  they  wont fite    i  have  one
