Turtle may have drowned?

she was found between the glass of her tank and an object in the tank. she might have got squished and drowned or something else may have happened to her. we took her out and followed step by step instructions on a website to get the water out of her lungs (http://www.allturtles.com/care_sheets/first_aid.php#11)...

It didnt seem like any water came out... and we tried to blow air into her mouth with a straw. it is sunday and I've called a bunch of vets and none are open. is there anything I can do or do you think she'll survive until monday morning. should I leave her in her tank on a rock with warmth so she doesnt get cold or leave her out in a different area?

  1. if your tank is small and the turtle is big it could cause stress which pressured the turtle into this state. you should bring it to a vet pretty soon! also make sure it is a turtle............ a couple of people i know got a tortoise and wasn't turtle smart and put it in a huge tank of water.  Unfortunately it died.

  2. That is why you need to make sure there are no spots in the tank that the turtle will get stuck in.

And you need to make sure the tank is big enough too.

    Sorry.
