Turtles...??? Help...?

Hi...I might get Turtle soon and I need to know what do I need. I am gettiing 2 baby turtle. Can I put it with my Goldfish so I don't need to by it a big tank? If I can't...can I put it with the Goldfish smtimes? Do I put tap water for the Turtle or I need a medicine for it or smthin? Plzz help!

Well i wouldn't put it with a goldfish forever.One day u might wake up and your goldfish is gone!Turtles need a certain lighting and food.They need land to sit on too.But it all depends on what type your getting.

I wouldnt put your goldfish with your turtles unless you would like your turtles to eat them.  Regular tap water should be fine for your turtle.  you can buy these turtle water conditioner things at walmart that will help keep any diseases out of the tank. theyre cheap too.  

what you will need for your turtles-

a large aquarium (for 2 babies a 20 gallon)

a place for them to dry off

an underwater heater (keep tank low 80's)

uv lamp

filter (optional, but good to have)

food (crickets, pellets high in calcium& vit. a)

Depending on the type of water turtle that you get, you might have to have a salt water tank. In this case, I don't think you'd be having it in the goldfish one.

I wouldn't do that anyway, as the goldfish might feel extremely intimidated by this aquatic turtle suddenly in his/her territory.

Go into a petstore (Petsmart or Petco) and ask them to assist you with everything that you need to begin with your pet turtle. Make sure that you have a big enough tank for 2 aquatic turtles, as they can grow to be medium sized.
