HI! i was wondering if someone could give me some websites or tips and a tutoring supplies list.

This summer i will be tutoring my bro i will be tutoring him in third grade

  1. I just joined cosmeo.com; they have so much info there. Check it out. Every subject is covered for every age group, there are brain games, encyclopedia, etc. I use K12, but got this for extra help and fun, interactive ways to learn. There are teachers that show exactly how a math problem is done and everything. SO COOL!


  2. Read up on his school books. Bookstores and libraries have books on homeschooling. Libraries can also order books from other libraries for a small (or no) fee. gl

  3. We found the best learning for the primary grades were multiple subject workbooks.  Scholastic is one brand . If you ahve  a Scholar's Choice or similar in your area they are a great source. ANother low cost option for great sources is the local library. Geography, science etc even phonics. One of the most important things though is read to him out loud and have him read to you. Inspire a love of reading in a child and they will become a lifelong learner. If reading is a chore, one thing my son loved was Garfield comic books from the library, he'd devour several a day.
