My boyfriend needs help educationally. He had a career assessment test performed and part of the test results stated that his reading and math level were on the second grade level. He graduated from special education and does not have much work experience. He wants to attend college. His vocational counselor suggested remedial courses, but having been in a college environment, he knows that they can only tutor students for one hour at a time and my boyfriend with his comprehension level needs about 4-5 hours a day. Can anyone suggest any tutoring services that can tutor a person for 4-5 hours a day.

  1. Honestly, if he has a learning disability.  Tutoring a person longer than 3 hours a day is going to make the person feel frustrated.

I have adult ADD.  I also was told my a neuropsychologist I would never make it in college.  My comprehensive skills & vocabulary was very low.

Anyways. I have earned a certificate in human services. (college level)
