remember in the 70's, 80's and 90's they had the floor model console tvs. remember how popular they where. do you believe that the new plasmas and lcds are the floor model console tvs of today.

I think that it speaks to the way society changes thought time.  Everything from cars to telephones, even televisions have gotten sleeker and "sexier".
