Tv acting degree help?

if i wanted to act on tv which university degree would be appropriate. there is so many different types with drama, acitng and film studies etc..

Drama schools would be your best bet.

Some do general acting courses with elements of screen acting.

Others have a strand for screen acting (so basically, in your second year, you may choose between stage, musical theatre and screen acting)

And I do believe there are pure 'acting for screen' courses as well.

Just have a browse around some drama school websites, and you'll find what you're looking for :)

I think it has a lot to do with being in the right place at the right time and also whether you have the talent and perserverance for it. Go for it by all means, but you may want to consider missing this out and heading striaght to the nearest newsagents and picking up a copy of "The Stage" newspaper and looking at the auditions!
