Tv doesnot power on

Question

my 32" polaroid LCD tv/DVD combo model no.TDA-03211c doesnt turn on.the red light is there indicating that the tv is getting the power but the redlight does not turn to blue when the on/off button on the remote or the tv itself is pressed and nothing happens on the tv.i already tried taking in and out the plug but it did not work.i would appreciate your help.
