Question

the tray works dine, the laser is fine, the disk wont spin? is the drive that normally spins most dvd players belt driven, or just motor driven. getting ready to take it apart as far as i can. just kinda want to get an idea on what spins the disk. im very good at soldering, but hope its a belt, or a dry or broken solder. any thoughts are appreciated, 4 what i might expect when i get it all the way open. thanks. if it is belt driven, any clue to a site that sells them, or where i can order or find one. thanks again

Those recorders are long discontinued.  Mine is going good.  Once they go, that is it.  Sorry.  No more support for them.
