  1. Its a digital signal. If you have cable or a satalite you dont have to worry. About the only people who will have to worry are people who get an antenna signal with an older t v. They will probably need a digital converter and they cost about 50.00

  2. On February 17, 2009, the FCC is requiring all full power Over The Air (OTA) TV stations to turn off their old style analog signals and be 100% digital.  The digital signals are in the air now so you can change at any time.

To receive the new digital signals, you need either a new Digital TV or a converter box.  The converter boxes are available for about $40 to $60 and will convert the new digital signals to old style analog.  You will also need a good quality TV antenna.  The government is giving our $40 coupons to help with the cost of the converters.  You may apply for a coupon here https://www.dtv2009.gov/ .

If you are connected to cable or satellite, you should be OK.  Cable and Satellite systems are supposed to support the old style analog sets until about 2012.

    I hope this helps.

  3. in 2009 all tv's that ARE NOT connected to cable or satalitte will cut out. if you use the old rabbit ears this will happen you will lose your channels. but like i said if you have cable or satalitte you will be fine.

  4. The government passed a law that is going to make all basic antenna tv digital. What that means is for people with no cable or a satelite dish, that they will get more channels and have none of those wierd staticy white and black fuzzy lines popping up. So along with more channels, it will also have a better quality picture, and better sound quality. So if you have an HD tv then your ok. Or a newer brand TV then our fine. Thats just a basic outline. Go to the website in my sources if you would like to know more =).

    Hope i could help you
