how long does a tv signal travel from a broadcasting station?

  1. This depends on what your question is to you mean from the base station to your TV areal? - it that's the question it depends on your distance from the base station, but it's generally less than 1 second.

    If you are referring to from the broadcaster to the base stations, it will very much depend on how the broadcaster is sending the signal, but its still not a "long" time.
