Why is it when your batteries are going dead in your TV remote, you always press the buttons harder

  1. its true you do but i don't know why maybe to give it a bit more power lol


  2. I have no idea, but I guess we all do it. I also get some high low arm action going along with the harer push. Then I open the back and roll them around...I am so lazy about changing them..I try to squeak out ever last channel change I can get out of them.

  3. Quite simply, when the function does not occur, it appears that the button was not pressed hard enough to make the contact, so we try again, but naturally, a bit firmer the next time. Of course, if the battery was too low for the remote to work, we do not know that until it has failed to work several times in succession.

  4. Do You, i must try and see if i do that the next time it happens to me, its annoying if you don't have spares

  5. in  the hope that if the connecting is longer the battery has enough juice to power the signal.

  6. because when there almost dead it takes more energy to get power from the batteries therefore you press harder and thats where the extra energy comes from

  7. i dont i get them out and rub them and it works dont know why.
