  1. if your screen is glass, you can use any glass cleaner.  if it is plastic, then don't use anything with ammonia or vinegar.  I personally use Sprayway glass cleaner on everything.  It is a foam, comes in a 20 oz. can, and can be bought at Wal-Mart.  It is safe, and it eliminates static, which prevents dust from attaching to your screen.  Use a soft cloth, flannel, terrycloth, or microfiber cloth.

  2. I do the following:

Turn off and unplug the TV (you don't want to get shocked)

Dampen a sponge in tap water and wring it out thoroughly.

Spray a little bit of 409 Spray Cleaner onto the damp sponge (NOT directly onto the TV).   You don't want it dribbling down the front of the TV and getting inside it.

Wipe the screen around the edges first, then across the middle.

I'm always amazed how much crud comes off.

  3. cloth

  4. Bog standard spray on window cleaner plus kitchen towel.

  5. A soft ever-so-slightly damp cloth. Don't fall for all the specialised nonsense - it's just a means of making money!

  6. You need a warm DAMP cloth, do not use any detergents, if this does not work you can buy a cleaner from Dixons, that will help clean and fill in any chips....log in  cleaning tvscreans

  7. Try a regular window cleaner, or just a soft cloth.. that should do it.

  8. Specialised TV/LCD screen wipes, you can buy them in any electronic shop and probably most supermarkets

  9. go to ASDA ,they have a Philips LCD kit for £4.99 .. its brill

  10. i got a tv screen cleaner. Its like a foam sausage in a plastic handle with a cleaning spray. Even does my delicate LCD tv.

  11. Swiffer

or moistened flannel (just damp to touch not wet)

  12. Flannel.
