I have a Thomson tv, model 32wf400 g, the television is stuck in standby. When I turn the system on it will try to start up and it keeps clicking and the light changes from red to the orange start up but than back to the red. It will not get out of the standby mode. Can you tell me why, and how do I fix it?
Exact same problem with a Memorex MT2025, especially the "clicking" sound. When I turn the system on the power light will turn green immediately followed by about 1/2 second of clicking, and then it goes right back to standby. The TV is only 5 months old, and replaced a Magnavox I had for 26 years.
