Tweek/Customize 2009 Nissian Murano NAVAGATION?

Question

I just bought a 2009 Murano awhile back. I hate that the navigation has certain features that you can not use unless you are at a stop or not driving...stupid safety feature. Is there a chip or something I can buy to make all features accessable at ALL times??

ALSO...I wanted to know if there's a way to turn it into a DVD player also...even though its not designed for it.

How can I hack and customize this thing?? :)

i can't help you with the gps part.  But for the video, your radio will not play dvd's. However you can purchase a dvd player check here: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i18_u...  now to use one of these you need one of these to be able to hook it into your gps: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i490_... there are two that are said to be used with nissans i am sorry but cannot tell you exactly whichone you need.
