Twelve dogs are ready to put the Sheffield racing track on fire in the Carling 3 Steps To Victory Semi Finals
After the thrilling results in the Carling 3 Steps to Victory's Heats, the qualifiying hounds are all set to compete against each other in the semi finals of this exclusive event.
Six Heats in the Carling 3 Steps To Victory were held with a total prize money of £400 at the Sheffield Racing Track, covering a distance of 480 meters.
Trainer H Crapper’s Frisby Fontenblu was the fastest winner among the six Heats, the 1/1F favourite covering the total distance in 27.74 seconds.
As trap 2 opened, the four-year-old hound, wearing blue and white, ran with an amazing momentum. The pace of his chase was fast from the beginning of the race.
The black dog remained at the leading position until he reached the wire, defeating his four contenders in a fine fashion.
The son of Droopys Vieri out of Droopys Periena, Frisby Fontenblu proclaimed the £200 purse winner for trainer H Crapper.
The 10/1 favourite, Low Wood Gift, starting his race from trap 3, finished second by 4 ¼ lengths under the training of C T Lund.
The two-year-old black dog tried every chance to reach the wire before his competitor, Frisby Fontenblu, but the situation was not in his favour.
The son of Droopys Maldini out Mill Lane Maggie covered the 480 meter distance in 28.08 seconds.
The second hasty winner of the Carling 3 Step To Victory was the three-year-old Pond Shefelia, who by sustaining the leading position, finished first in a total 27.98 seconds.
The black dog, son of Hondo Black out of Pond Shakira, started her victory race from trap 4, wearing black and white.
The dog who reached the wire second, shy by 3 meters, was two-year-old Subway Rose.
As trap 6 was opened for trainer K A Macari’s hound he tried every chance to win the purse.
Along with Pond Shefelia, trainer E T Parker’s two-year-old Skywalker Louie also covered the distance in 27.98 minutes.
The blue and white dog running from trap 4, wearing black and white, declared himself the winner with his superb chase in the Carling 3 Steps To Victory's Heat 2.
Top Honcho’s son out of Synone Straight, Skywalker Louie, maintained the leading position and ended up outrunning a well known champ, Droopys Arshvin, leaving Droopys Arshavin to finish second by 2 ½ lengths.
The black dog got crowded by Skywalker Louie during the race, covering the distance in 28.18 seconds despite the fact he kept on running to give a hit.
Hallucinate’s son Grayslands Bubba covering the 28.04 seconds defeated his contender Granard Bound by neck.
Starting the race from trap 2, the three-year-old Graysland Bubba, with tremendous pace, crowded Granard Bound whose recorded time was 28.07 seconds, giving a fine hit in Heat 3 of the Carling 3 Steps To Victory. 
The 3/1 favourite, trainer C Allsopp’s Head Iton Jason, gave a tremendous hit in the Carling 3 Steps To Victory's Heat 1.
Westmead Hawk’s son, starting his chase from trap 3, defeated trainer M J Dartnall’s Kilmore Say Go by covering the distance in 28.05 seconds.
Kilmore Say Go, who finished second by ½ length, covered the distance in 28.09 seconds.
A renowned trainer, B Draper’s, three-year-old black hound, Magna Hawk, giving an excellent hit, won the purse by covering the 480 meter distance in 28.16 seconds.
The black dog leading his contenders, defeated two-year-old Glenbane Mile by 1 ¼ lengths, who finished second with 28.26.
The winners of the Heats were not only rewarded with the prize money of £200 but also qualified for the semifinals of Carling 3 Steps To Victory as well, along with the hounds who finished second in the Heats.
