Twenty-five cents for sauce at BK?

Question

Burger King is charging 25 cents for things of sauce.If you order chicken fries, they give you one free. But please, give me your thoughts on this situation.

This is the kinda stuff they do at Zaxby's...one time i went up there to get a sauce and they asked for 25 cents so I had to scrounge up 25 cents.. i think i had only 20 cents which they took. Yeah i'm not liking the extra money for extra sauces..they should at least start you out with two sauces. Then maybe charge for the 3rd or 4th ones u get. I believe they are doing this so they don't allow customers to take advantage of stealing lots of sauce. And the restaurant can control consumers from doing this. -_- money hogs..

Yes, that's correct.  A lot of Fast Food places are charging for extras now.  That's just another reason for me to bring my food home and eat it there.  I love lots and lots of ketchup, so at home I keep a very large bottle in the fridge.

it's crazy, but most fast food places are doing that now, charging for sauces, everything is going up.

they dont charge anything for sauce at BK or mccy d's in cleveland ohio...

wow that is crazy! Thsis is in the USA right?? i live in england and the sauce is free everywhere. I guess that they are trying to save money, or make more.

McDonalds has been doing it for years now. When you order nuggets or chicken selects you are given so many sauces. but if you want extra, its $.25 also. I guess they cant afford to just give sauce away. I think its stupid too.

I saw a sign at McDonald's the other day that they would charge for extra sauce and I thought it was odd because I have never been asked to pay for extra sauce.  I guess even fast food places are trying to save money too!

I think it's crazy.  McDonald's is doing it in our area.  I don't get sauce anywhere else.  If you get nuggets or selects you get like one or two packs for free.  But if you want it for your fries or whatever, you gotta pay.  It's insane!  Even restaurants are doing it.  My man and I went in a sit down diner place and I got chicken tenders and asked for a side of honey mustard and they said it would be 50 cents.  I was like, bring me ketchup if it's free.  I hate paying extra for stuff that shouldn't cost anything!  The price of food is expensive enough as it is.  It's not like they're gonna loose THAT much by giving out sauce for free!

That's crazy, you would be better off carrying a bottle of barbecue sauce around with you. j/k
