Twenty three flavors of Dr. Pepper? So what 23 flavors am I supposed to taste?

I think that is proprietary (you know, like the 7 secret herbs and spices). If everybody new all 23 flavors, then people could replicate Dr Pepper and challenge their monopoly on the "pepper" variety of soda (according to the FTC, "pepper" is a different product than cola).

This one was asked in one of my lectures in Culinary School.  The official line is that no one person knows all 23 flavoring agents, and that 1 person knows part of the list, and another knows the other part of the list... however, I've got it on good authority that at least one of the more pronounced flavors in Pepper is prune.
