Up on tables under them in an effort to get out of the room. No bee sting, nothing landed on him. Just total panic and escape. He is a fairly placid cat in general.

  1. maybe there is something like a rodent in ur walls that has startled him that only he can hear my cat is like that to sometimes

  2. My cat does this too. All I think it is doing is being frisky. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

  3. Read these responses to my same question from last night.

Some of them are pretty good.

  4. Maybe he got a case of the FRAPS...frenetic rapid activity period.

  5. I would say that depending on where you live, you've been experiencing some crazy weather. It is said that animals, especially cats can sense this from far away and much sooner than us or weather machines. He may just be reacting to this.

There also my be a female cat in the neighborhood he can sense.

I found here that their could be a couple more reasons....check it out.

Good luck with your "crazy" kittie

    =)

  6. Do you give him catnip?  That might be the cause, or maybe he is just getting spurts of energy and decides to run around all crazy.  My cats will do that every once in a while if they are in the mood.  Good luck, I wouldn't be worried.

  7. That sounds like what my husband and I refer to as a "spazz attack"  lol  All 3 of our cats do this on occassion and it's not necessarily a panic attack. Sometimes a cat just needs to release pent up energy.... about all you can do is make sure anything valuable or precious to you is not one of the surfaces they like to touch down on when they do this.

  8. We in our home call this the "crazy cat syndrome"  for no reason at all my  youngest male will just flip out and I mean CRAZY, up on the couch over the tv onto the fish tank up on the counters up the stairs and then he will slowly walk into the room like there was some attacker in the room, we come to realize this is just him amussing himself and we actually will run after him and he loves it.  It's not always a bad thing, study the cats behavior and play allowing you might see that it's a good thing.
