This is Sports Entertainment and Kane and Mike Adamle are playing the roles assigned to them. If the WWE Booking Team has decided something big will happen, it will. If not, nothing will happen and the WWE will not even remember building up to it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. There is always a possibility, but I think they are just using this to give Mike Adamle something to do, put Kane over as a heel, and advance the storylines. Like Adamle was used to be the person to make Kane reveal what was inside his bag, and the one that announced Rey was coming back, all used to assist the storyline.
