It is basically stress and fatigue, but arranging a more relaxed lifesyle is often far from easy, however correct it is in principle.

In some people there's a connection with marginally low potassium levels. Try drinking fresh tomato juice or eating bananas if you hate tomato juice.

eye twitching is caused by the following:

-Stress

-Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva

-Fatigue

-Lack of sleep

-Prolonged staring at a computer screen or   television

-Nervous system disorders

An eye twitch is usually brought on by stress.  It happens to me once in a while.

I have suffered from this a few times in the past and its the most annoying thing in the world!! But the more you worry about it the more your eye will twitch, and the more your eye twitches the more you worry!! I had this for Months once and it drove me mad!! It is caused by stress/anxiety/extreme tiredness most of the time. I would suggest a relaxing weekend and a few early nights and forget about it and it will go on its own, Good Luck and Don't worry about it or it will get worse!!
