Twilight car question?

Question

In the movie Edward drives some not so good looking Volvo, but in the book he drives Volvo S60R. Why do they change so much in the movie from the book? I mean all the little details they change makes the movie so much different than the book...not good.

okay here's the story. Stephenie and director go to a car dealership looking for that precise car, and they have it. But listen to this. Stephenie says:"We need this volvo for a movie we're making based on a book that is a teen hit for young adults." The car dealer man thinks for a second, and if you've seen the volvo commercial you should know that they mention young adult safety in it. So the man puts the pieces together. Young adult fans + a car meant for the safety of young adults= the volvo to sell!

ik, its stupid. theres a video on youtube that kinda explains it. if i remember right... its because volvo no longer makes that car. i will look for the answer, and then edit my answer!!!!

I know I know, that's why i'm no going to see any the movie, it's always such as disappointment .That's why i'm sticking to my imagination.

-The harry potter movies were disappointing too, that's why i stop at the 4th and just sticked to the books and my imagination. Instead of complaining  about the missing details.

well all know that all books made into movies dont have exactly the same details and thats the director/producer's thoughts i guess? but i totally agree with you!

publicitly ive noticed so much has changed from the book to the movie i have seen from pictures and the preview on youtube
