Twilight question!!?

ok so i have 2 questions.

question one.. why does edward act all weird whenever alice's name is mentioned in most of twilight?

question 2 is in the deleted scene things on stepheniemeyers website. or it might be in the book but i dont hink so... and its when rosalie and alice are dressing bella and they are like do you think carlisle would let us.....? and i was wondering if anyone knew what they were talking about! please answer if you know either answer! thanks!

2. Rosalie and Alice wanted to take Bella's cast off for the prom, but Carlisle wouldn't let them.

1- Because Alice sees Bella become a vampire and Edward does not want that in Twilight

2- Because Bella has a cast and they want to take it off but the bone is still healing and Carlisle (doctor) wont let them.
