Twilight release date?

OK, i'm confused. on the twilight website it says Twilight is supposed to come out 11.21.08 but in all the trailers it says 12.12.08. Which one is right???

It's on the 21st November it's coming out, due to a clash with Harry Potter 6.

Let's be honest.....  Harry Potter was afraid that Twilight would steal a lot of their money which is the one and only reason a move to the summer was made.  Let's face it,  a movie with this genre always does better around Halloween, so the fact that they ran from the date seems to mean they are a little worried of Twilight.   Needless to say that once HP left the date,  Twilight jumped at the chance to get closer to Halloween,  while still coming out at Thanksgiving for the extra $.

The website is correct ...

Harry Potter 6 was moved from November 21 to next July because the powers-that-be at Warner Brothers feel it'll make more money as a summer blockbuster than it will as a winter movie.  That cleared the way for Twilight's release date to moved to three weeks earlier, from the original December 12 date to November 21.

They changed the date. It's now coming out on 21st November.
