Twilight series: Is New Moon coming out summer 09 to go?

new moon isnt coming It its called twilight and its coming out november 08. they switched the dates with harry potter. LAME.

The movie will be based on the first book of the series, Twilight. Stephenie Meyer has not sold the movie rights to New Moon or Eclipse yet, though the makers of Twilight (2008) are interested in purchasing these rights and are reportedly working on a script for New Moon.

Overall, it might not be coming out in summer 2009, however they are thinking of making a sequel.

I hope so!  It was make sense that they could have possibly moved Harry Potter to do that!  Hadn't thought of it.  That would make for some great summer movies.

New Moon isn't coming out in summer 2009... Twilight is coming in November, so how could New Moon be out by summer 2009? They'd need to film right after Twilight comes out in order for that to happen.
