Twin Boys!!! Need all kinds of information?

Question

Information like, at what week are twins normally born? I had my son 4 weeks early. So I am so scared that these little fellas are gonna want to come out much sooner. I am going to ask about a progesterone shot to help control preterm labor.

I'm so confused about names now. Any suggestions? We had one name picked out for a boy and one for a girl.. But now we are having TWO boys!!!

I don't want them to be alike in any way. No, Joshua and Jacob

or David and Doug.. You get the point.. LOL

I don't know what all to do. I'm afraid of everything and anything goin wrong. I'm scared of Twin to Twin Trans., preterm labor, c section, etc.

My husband and I are absolutely freaking out.

Mainly because we didn't find out we were having twins until I was 17 weeks pregnant...

Sorry if this makes no sence. Just looking for a little advise about twin pregnancy, twin parents, names.. Anything.. LOL.

Breath!!

You are going to need to relax.  I know it is a lot to take but just go step by step. I have 6 month old twin girls so I know what I am talking about.  Just trust your doctor and your gut, and let nature take its course.

Hun just relax! It will be great! If you worry about EVERYTHING that goes wrong then you will literally go insane and thats not good for your boys. Imagine the women who dont find out about multiples until they give birth!

What is the name you picked for a boy? My son is named Matthew. If we are having another boy this time he will be named Jacob.  I think they go cute together. Matt & Jake

hiya it does make since to me.what sort of names did you picck when you thought it might be a girl and a boy?are they identical twins?when are they due?

twins do usally come early so be prepared and have the bag packed beside the door.

just relax.when friends ofer you help then take the help dont feel bad and say its ok.if you have an upstairs downstairs then get a changing table for upstairs and one for ddownstairs it saves you running up and down and put the same amount of stuff ineach.

get two bouncers.cause  they are so handy.you can feed them in it they can sleep in it and play in it and if the phone ring you can pop both in it.

f you have a microwave the you can get special steralize holders to steralize the bottles in the microwave they are better than the other ones.

if you are going some where have plenty of spare clothes with you,andiapers and food and a tip id incase they get sick or something wet a cloth and put it in tinfoil then you have a wetcloth handy the babywipes will try the skin out.

I am in the same scary boat as you are. I have a 7 y/old daughter and when we found out we were having twins we were SHOCKED!!! We are having a boy and a girl and I did not want the names to rhyme or start wit the same letter. To me, I felt like we are having two different babies, just at the same time. So I wanted them to have their own identities. Their own names and personalities. I want them to be close but our names do not match at all. We are having a Sidney and  a Blake :) I say just think about boy names you like and pick two. I am still scared to death it seems like but  I am now 29 weeks and going to start part time when I turn 30 weeks. Mostly due to pressure and having contractions here and there but everything else seems fine. Good luck and happy twin boys!

Congrats!! I am having twin girls, I am almost 37weeks. My doctor told me 36 weeks was full term for  twins. I went into preterm labor at 30 weeks and spent a week in the hospital on shots and pills to stop labor, and steroids in case they didn't stop. I left hospital and continued caring for my other two boys and here I am with no meds. We have an induction scheduled next week. I am able to have a vag delivery because both are head down. I was told that even if baby b was not head down I could still have reg delivery. It has been the roughest pregnancy out of all three. I wish you the very best of luck. If you take it easy and try not to do to much like I did and listen to your doc you should be fine and have two beautiful boys to show for it. Best wishes. We were going to use Noah David and Cayden Anthony if ours were boys.
