Twin girl names???????

Question

My frat. twin girls are due in September.

I've already chosen Ashlyn as a name but I can't decide on the other.

I have a few names in mind but can't decide.

Ashlyn and Ella would be so cute.  Ella is one of my favorite names. It's my great-grandmas name and close to the ever popular Emma.

Hannah is very popular were I live.  And I am not a huge fan of Zoe.

The rest are all beautiful.  :)

Ashlyn is a creative spelling of Aisling, which means 'vision' or 'dream' in Gaelic. If you want their meanings to match without sounding cutesy, Danielle also means 'vision'. I like Ashlyn and Eva, nicknamed Evie, together. I wouldn't use Evie as a given name. Heidi and Ashlyn are a cute pair too. My favorite name would be Ashlyn and Zoe.

Ashlyn and Emily sound really cute together, but Emily is so popular I would caution you against picking it.  Actually, a lot of the names on your list are really popular.  I do like the first poster's suggestion of Ashlyn and Elodie.  Elodie is a lovely "Emily-alternative."

I also like the sound of Ashlyn and Ella.  Ella was ranked #21 in the U.S. last year, so it's not nearly as popular as the #1 Emily.  Elsa is another name you might want to consider if you are going for something a bit more unique.

My absolute favorite name from your list, if you'll let me adapt one a little bit, is Eve.  Evie would be a cute nickname, but I think it's best to give a more formal name on the birth certificate so she'll be able to use that when she is older.  Ashlyn and Eve would be very pretty, and Eve isn't very common at all.  It was ranked #618 last year.

I would pick Hannah.My Name is Hannah and My middle name is michele,I have gotten comments telling me that sounds good.I love the name ashlyn,I actually have it on a baby name list.If you choose Hannah,I would do:

Jessica- I know a few people who've named their daughter this. It's a lovely name that goes well with most surnames. However I don't like the nicknames (Jess, Jessie)

Hannah- Modern but not ridiculous. No nicknames but great name for child and adult.

Zoe- cute and short. Doesn't go well with some surnames.

Emily- Very common. But a lovely name, good meaning.

Nickname options- Em, Emmy, Emz, Mily.

Ella- OK name can't imagine a 45 year old Ella.

Heidi- unusal, sweet.

Mia- A very pretty name, maybe a bit short and I know a lot of people with a little girl named Mia.

Evie- adorable but maybe not a sutiable name for an adult. Maybe Eve?
