  1. I don't have twins, therefore I don't know.

  2. Their kids, their names.  I'd name my kids related names, not necessarily starting with the same letter or rhyming.  Like Joshua & Caleb.  Like Mark & Luke or Luke & John.

    TX Mom

  3. insecurity. im a twin and bro is called tom which means twin.

  4. i dunno, i have friends who are twins that are named nick and nichole,

but my brother and sister are twins and their names are ryan and carley

my cousins are twins ,(fraternal) kristin and amanda

my other cousins (also fraternal) are mason and braden

sometimes rhyming or similar names are cute, but i dont see the point.

  5. I never felt the need to give my twins rhyming names at all ...Kylie and Thomas i called mine ..but some do decide this and its up to them really ..isn't it x

  6. my boyfriend is a twin, his name is James and his brother's name is Stuart.

i know some twins called Tom and Alex. some called William and Edward

i've never heard of any twins with similar names....?

  7. I'm a twin, and I cringe when I see or hear twins with stupid idiotic rhyming names, have the parents no shame?  Do they not think about the one year of cuteness followed by 80 of sheer mortification.  Important issue, thanks for raising it

My mother had more sense thankfully so we've normal names

  8. I love Joshua & Caleb!!!

    Hope you do too!

  9. it's more fun for them to say while theyre calling them...instead of ryan and gabriel time for your dr.s appt! its rakhee and rishi we're going to be late!  i think it should just sound good together, like meghan and jenna

  10. They think it's cute. I personally prefer individuality.

  11. Me I don't really feel the need to name my twins with names that rhyme or begin with the same letter... I think it's just going through the millions of names you get stuck in one letter... My only need is to name my twins something really great... This is my last kids.. and my first girl.. I want her name to be great and his to be as well... I am open for any suggestions... I have already named 4 boys, and it's hard to name another... and I have always wanted a girl.. but now I can't decide on a name.. ♥

  12. Because they like to confuse people.

    That might be it.

All I know is I think the cutest names for twins are Luke and Riley.

  13. This site is a lot of names filled.

    http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/twins....

    Hope that helped! < 3

  14. I know a few sets of twins & one set of triplets & none of them have rhyming/matching names as you suggest.

  15. They think it's cute. If I were I twin and my parents did that, I would be so unhappy.

  16. I agree with you if I have twins I would too name them two totally unrelated names I think people name twins, triplets, quads etc related names becasuse it is something that has been aroung forever kind of like a "unsaid" rule...

  17. our boys are Grayden Lee and Bryant Lewis =) im SO against same name twins!!!

  18. I agree with you, i believe that twins have their own personality and should have their own identity. I named my twin boys different unrhyming names as well.

I think that is the way it should be.

  19. Phil and Lil, LMAO, just kidding.

Personally, in my opinion, I wouldn't have their names rhyme and they don't necessarily have to start with the same letter. I love the name, Natalie for a girl. And Michael for a boy.

  20. when you say there names its faster easier

like my children bubba, bubble bass and bubble bath

    or b, bb, and bba

  21. i dont see whats wrong with something like cain and able

  22. jack and jill

  23. I dont know. My friend has a twin. His name is Jason and her name is Jennifer.

  24. well i think its because its kinda fun to come up with rhyming names and dressing them the same that kinda stuff but i also think they forget that even though they are twins they are individuals and that when their older they will be known as different people not twins!

    -Brie

  25. because if they forget the name of one of the twins, they might be able to work it out by looking for names that rhyme with or begin with the same letter as the name of the twin whose name they remember

  26. Some people think its cute but if I had twins that have completely different names. but some people think its cute and some twins like it

  27. boys- jake + jack + noah+ nathan girls- lilly + lola both- eric + erica

  28. I am not sure about that. I guess they want to keep the tradition going.

  29. I agree with you on that. It gets REALLY annoying. Bailey and Kaley. Shy and Shai. SO ANNOYING. The kids prob hate it to tho...

  30. it's cute

  31. Because the world has gone mad.  Names are just another way to let your children know they are "special" and should be treated as such even if they don't deserve it.  Lets just give everyone a trophy for trying, that's good enough now.  No more winners and loosers - wouldn't want to hurt anyones feelings.

BTW, our twins are named Gina and Jack.
