I am pregnant with a boy and a girl and am decorating my nursery in classic winnie the pooh. Any suggestions on a good neutral color to paint the room?

  1. you can do the green and yellow or a light purple and light blue....or the color of tigger and poohs shirt....

  2. I would take the bedding or some other decorative item you are using and pick one of the less prominent pale colors from that. Then take it to a paint store and tell them that's what you want.

  3. Pastel yellow and pastel green.

  4. pink and blue stripes :D!!! or yellow I guess :(

  5. how cute! Id do light yellow and light green strips...or bottom 1/2 yellow or green and the other top 1/2 the other color (with a white wood trim dividing the colors in 1/2)

  6. i found some samples around the house  not a lot  one colour that i liked for both a boy and a girl was tropical tides it is a peaceful colour  check it out

  7. When it comes to Winnie The Pooh, I would do a bright, but not too bright, yellow. The color itself feels warm, vibrant and exciting!

  8. go with light green and a yellow border. if you look at the winnie pooh baby collection you'll often see this color combination. congratulations!

Blue can also be gender neutral. its not just for boys.

  9. You could go with a light green or pale yellow.  If you really wanted neutral stick with a light beige.  This way you will not have to paint in 2-3 years when you change the room.  This is what I did with my son's room and I am planning to do this in the new nursery for the twins.

  10. i think yellow would be nice. it would go well with the winnie the pooh theme.

  11. pale yellow

thats what my sis did when she didn't know the s*x. she also had a winnie the pooh theme. i think it works really well to create a warm but beautiful surrounding for your babies.

    Congratulations!

  12. light green

  13. Congrats X 2! I am also pregnant with boy/girl twins! I think I am going to leave the room white and decorate with pastels. I will probably have the babies sleep together until they start rolling over and then give them their separate cribs.... each crib is on one side of the window...I'm going to do light purple curtains on one side and light green on the other. And then in the middle I'm looking to find a white curtain with purple and green polka dots!  Plus this way I can have different color room accents and it won't make the room look as though it is only for a boy or girl.   Just some ideas!

  14. pastel yellow or pastel green noting to bold as that doesn't look to great in a nursery

  15. yellow or green.  Even orange would look good with winnie the pooh.

  16. "Hunny" Yellow.  :-)

Congrats!  I have twins too, both girls, though.

  17. a nice cream color.  that would look really nice with with winnie.  a friend of mine did it and it came out really nice.
