Twin size comforter on xl twin bed.?

Question

I'm on the hunt for nice bedding for my dorm but I can't find any. I've looked at target, jcpenny, sears, macys, overstock, linins and things, bed bath and beyond, walmart, kmart, and dillards. I cannot find one XL comforter I would want to actually spend money on. Dorm bedding looks like a six year old designed it.

Will a twin size comforter look okay on a xl twin, or should I maybe get a full size or queen? I don't mind it fit's a little bit, i can fix that, but I just don't want it to look ridiculous.

get  a  double  size  or  full  to  fit  your  xlarge twin

Absolutely,

It's the same width, but not as long.  Your Pillows won't be covered and you won't be folding it over.  Who likes their pillows covered anyway? Right?

I don't think it would look TOO odd, really, but if you have any doubts, go for a Queen size instead. You can flip it to fit better longways. There's only five inches difference in length between Twin and Twin XL, and Full is the same length as a regular Twin. A Queen, however, is the same length as a Twin XL.
