Twinhead p88tremic laptop o/s install

Question

I bought this laptop without an operating system.hdd been formatted.When I try to install windows through an external cd it can't find a driver for it.It cmes up with.preparing to start your computer then device driver not found
no valid cd driver atapi OT1 91X.
The cd rom I have in the enclosure is a toshiba XM-1802D model.I can't find the driver on Toshibas site.It was manifactured April 1999 (the cd rom).
