Question:

Twins' kids ??.... if two identical twin brothers had wives who were themselves identical twin sisters.

and say, both pair had a boy. will the two kids also be identical or atleast carry some resemblance to each other ???

  1. OK....  I'm a twin and science is my major...and let me tell you the only way twins can be identical is if they are from the SAME EGG!  Which means...mom has an egg...that one egg splits...those children will be identical.  If mom has two different eggs...those babies will be fraternal twins.  If there are separate mothers...and separate fathers (no matter if they are identical twins, fraternal twins or single born)...there is no way the children can be identical...because the eggs would be different.  


  2. cousins sometimes tend to look similar i look like im related to a few of my cousins but theres no wqay they will be identical

  4. I asked my teachers this question a million times and they've all said the same thing. That there are too many gene combinations for this great coincidence to actually happen, and yet there is a very slight margin where the children could have some similar traits, but because they come from similar gene pools not because they come from identical twin parents.
