some a hole deleted my question! So which is best for female,I am looking for which one has a smaller chamber since I know they're made for men (I don't want pink ones) I need 12 oz for drills and bag work during boxing class, I am also very short and I heard Twins has long cuffs, so I do not want my arms to be swallowed. Please do not offer any other brands, I am only interested in these two brands. Thanks for your help!

  1. Well, since you don't want your arms swallowed, as you put it, you should probably go with the Fairtex gloves. The article that I copied and pasted below may sway you to go with Fairtex, also.

Earlier this year, Fighter Magazine independently tested 20 different types of boxing gloves available in the Scandinavian market with major brands such as Fairtex, Top Ten, Twins, MTG Pro, Casall, Fighter Pro, Super Pro, KVIB, Skip Sport, Abilca and Fighter Sport.

The 20 gloves were initially compared and ranked based on price, quality and construction. Fairtex gloves (style BGV1 Tight-Fit Design and BGL7 Mexican Style Design) were ranked 3rd.

To find out which brand of gloves are the best of all, Fighter Magazine had the gloves under gone a six months intensive testing and usage by real athletes in boxing, muaythai and kickboxing gyms to see which is the best of all.

The result is in. Finally the big boxing gloves test is done. Fighter Magazine got most disappointed that several of the expensive gloves didn’t live up to the expectations. It was always the velcro that failed the test. If that had worked to satisfaction after one term of being used, a lot of the gloves would have been very good and Fighter Magazine would have been recommending them for you to buy. But who wants to invest in an expensive pair of gloves that is just useful for one term? Here is the result from Fighter Magazines big Boxing gloves test!

In the end, Fairtex gloves were graded the “BEST IN TEST,‿ is the only gloves that received a Grade 5 out of 5 and receives a recommendation of “BEST BUY!‿ Fairtex BGL7 Pro-Training gloves, Mexican Style is a lace-up gloves that have a very nice fit and has the best quality that will be good for using many times.

    FAIRTEX BEST IN TEST!

    Fairtex 12 oz Black/white leather (BGL7 Pro-Training Gloves, Mexican Style): Lace-up

    Brand: Fairtex

    Price: $94.95 USD

Lacing/Velcro: The only glove in the test with lacing

    Stuffing/Form: Very nice fit

Quality/ Expose to Wear: Really great gloves that will be good for using several terms.

    Recommendation: Best Buy!

Final Grade: 5 out of 5

That article was copied from Fighter Magazine a few years ago. I hope this helps your decision.
