Twister aircraft - homebuilt?

Saw this plane the other day at the airport. I didn't get a picture unfortunately. It looked like a miniature Supermarine Spitfire and had what looked to be retractable gear. The name on the engine cowling was "TWISTER" and it had an experimental label on it. Anyone know what this might be?

  1. What you saw is the "Silence Twister" that looks a lot like a Spitfire and borrows heavily from many design features, such as the elliptical wing.  It is a fiberglass composite homebuilt being kitted by Silence Flugzeugbau GmbH in Verl, Germany. It was recently written up in "Kitplanes" magazine.
