Twisting a nose stud?

My piercer said DONT touch and and dont twist it at all just clean with sea salt and water, and then everyone of my friends and family with nose piercings say that you MUST twist it or else it wont come out and it will get all crusty

i only twist mine if im cleaning it but i know you should leave it alone cause the more you touch it the greater chance of infection

yes you have to cause if not the skin will grow around your nose stud and you might not be able to remove it! so if i was you i would twist it but don't play with it though!

Your friends & family are NOT professionals - listen to your piercer.

yes you should twist your nose ring but only when cleaning it. as you work your cleaning soultion into the piercing you should rotate a full reveloution about 3 times
