Since i have to work with statistics more often than not, i have learnt how to use (and spot) statistics in a way to prove my point. An example being - You are more likely to die by drowning if you eat lots of ice cream. Thats fine, but the fact you eat ice cream in summer, when you're on the beach and in the sea doesnt come into it! Another one being violent videogames, all the news reports say that violent video games cause violent behaviour, but what they dont consider is the fact that VIOLENT PEOPLE play violent games. Do you take what the news tells you at face value or do you criticise the information like i do?
