Question:

Two A2 subjects and one AS subject?

next year, i have to take only two A2 subjects and pick up a new AS subject. where will this take me? is this deal good enough for university applications? or shall i retake my whole AS again to do better?

  1. It depends. Some universities do specify that you need three A Level or equivalent, so obviously you would miss out on them. However, many only need two A levels, so your remaining points could be made up from A/S.

    Without knowing your subjects or grades, I'd suggest that you should concentrate in making the two A2 subjects that you do as good as possible. Take a new AS Level as well: that way you can add up the UCAS points from your current AS Level to those you gain in the new one and in the two A2 levels!
