Two Colors?

I saw a vw beetle and it was two colors so when the light hit it a certain way it was green and then if it hit it a different way it was purple. Almost like the colors were on top of eachother.

Does anyone know what this is technique is called?

I believe it's "flip-flop paint". I'm not sure if a more formal term for it exists.

thats called two tone paint. that technique is quite exspensive and few carmakers still offer it. but subaru still does.
