I have two question:

1. There is a cone on top of cyllinder but they are attached not seperate. I need to find the total surface area. The radius of the cyllinder is 5 and it is 9 tall. The cone has a radius of 5 and a slant height of 8. What is the surface area?

2. Same thing. There is a cone on top of a cyllinder they are attached not seperate, and the radius of the cyllinder is 3 and the height is 10. The radius of the cone is also 3 and the slant height is 5. What is the surface area? Thanks!

  1. SA for a cone = Pi*r*s + Pi *r^2

    r=5 s=8

    SA for Cylinder = 2*pi*r*h + 2*Pi*r^2

    r=5 h=9

    Do the same for the second question
