The laptop is older than the desk top. The desktop has what I call better news updates in the "featured" box. The laptop tends to be more pop culture. What can I do to change this?

  2. So each computer has different version of yahoo messager, If you dont like yahoo 8 you can uninstall it and yahoo 7.5 which is very stable http://www.freewebs.com/5canadian/msgr75... and to add remove contents from messager click on messager go to preferences content tabs

  3. Change the home page to http://www.yahoo.com/

    HOME PAGE

How to set Yahoo! Home Page on Windows IE6 browser:

This will load Yahoo!'s home page, where you will have access to all of the Yahoo! Services.  Easily accessible from any page/site by clicking on the 'Home' button on your browser.

    >left click 'Tools' (at the top of your browser)

    >left click 'Internet Options' (bottom of drop down menu)

    >at 'General' tab, in 'Home Page' section>

    >in the 'Address:' window, type in... http://www.yahoo.com/

    EXAMPLE:  "Address: [ http://www.yahoo.com/ ]"

    >left click 'Apply'

    >left click 'OK'

I'm not familiar with IE7, but if it's intuitive it should be similar... Good Luck!
