Question:

Two contra-rotating weights on the same shaft.?

If these weights were rotated fast enough, would their common (single)

hub become stationary? If the answer is yes, would it be because their

hub doesn't have enough time TO react? I presume the 'weight' of the weights and their proximity to their common hub ----- would have to be taken into consideration?

  1. LOL WUT

  2. Two contra-rotating weights on one shaft will introduce torsional stresses on the hub, but the hub will remain stationary.
