Two dreams in the same night, are they related?

Question

First dream: I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, when she was born I cried because of how lovely she was, she was all wrapped in a pink soft blanket, and had a glow around her. My fiance saw her and we cried together. Then I woke up.

Second dream: I was at a swimming hole with my fiance and all of our friends. My dog was there, but in the dream he was a puppy, we were all swimming and my dog went under and could no longer swim, I pulled him out and he was not breathing. I pushed on his chest and all the water came out, he started breathing for a little but then passed away.

Any ideas? are they related in any way?

They are kind of related in a round about way.

First dream: Birth signifies a new begining, happiness.  I believe that the birth represents your new life with your finance once you get married.  The pink soft blanket means that you haven't got set in your ways (habits) with your new  husband.  The glowing around the baby is because of the hope you have on this relationship.

Second dream:  A puppy is a young dog, immature irresponsible.  By it drowning in water, your mind realizes that you can no longer have the carefree days of your youth when you take on the role of being a wife.
