Two girls driving next to me at midnight rolled down their window and asked me if I was a girl?

I'm a guy who is in his early twenties and have some effeminate qualities I guess but a lot of girls hit on me in public, sometimes driving by when I'm walking to ask for my number, etc. I thought these girls were playing with me because I have long hair maybe halfway to my neck, and was wearing a pink shirt (I'm comfortable with my sexuality which is straight).

The other girl then did something bizarre; she asked me for my name and I told her which is a guy's name and not unisex, and I have a mustache but not thick fyi. So she does the Victory V gesture and puts her two fingers in a V position around her mouth and sticks her tongue out like the obscene gesture. What was she saying as she was laughing and doing all of this? Just messing with my mind? Making me doubt myself or something?

  1. These girls only showed their ignorance and bad manners.  The V thing has a sexual connotation.  They were way out of line.  Even so, just let it drop.  Don't let people like this get under your skin.  They're not worth the effort.

  2. She thought you were a girl, or cute. If a girl did that to me I would be excited!

Do you want to be a girl? or are you happy being an effeminate guy? Maybe she liked you. Some girls really like androgynous soft guys.

  3. wtf was u doin driving @ mid nite- i bet u was either drink driving or u is making this hole thing up

  4. Ah, she was probably drunk (she was the passenger, right?) Anyways, they were just having fun, don't let it bug you. Everyone says stupid stuff sometimes, I doubt they really meant it!

  5. She was probably drunk and just being rude. They probably couldn't tell since you say you have effeminate qualities and since they were drunk they had no problem expressing just that. They were just poking fun at YOUR expense. Pay no mind to little girls like that.

  6. Well some girls are prejudiced. I call that close mindedness if they see a guy wearing a pink T shirt and acting a bit effeminate then they wonder perhaps if he is a transvestite.. or if he had a gender change recently or is planning one. The main thing is that you know who you are and if you are straight then you are straight and if you weren't it's still nobody's business to judge a person due to their sexual preference. Probably not a good idea to wear a pink T-shirt to a job interview though.. other than that.. be yourself and don't worry what some people say. Everyone who is a tiny bit different .. they will make comments about, so be secure in yourself and stand above that and just try to say something in a low pitched voice and make it sound masculine.. see it with a sense of humor instead of getting all het up about it.. that's the best way to stop tongues wagging.. x*x
